Meeting Bono &The New Year
Happy New Year ! I think 2006 will be a great one for all of us and for Planet Earth.
2005 ended for me with a spontaneous meeting with Bono at The Chateau Marmot, in Los Angeles. I was there with two girlfriends having breakfast.
I was so happy to see him I said. “Hey !”
He came straight over and we began to talk . I told him how much I enjoyed the U2 concerts that I had seen in Boston . I also told him that I had been out in the desert talking with a Medicine Woman about the state of the planet , and how the Native American community believe, it is because we are not living in harmony with Mother Earth that we are facing so many disasters in the world .
He was an absolutely wonderful human being . So gracious and open. A real blessing to this planet . I thanked him for his consciousness in the world .
I think he is doing so much . In particular the “One” campaign.
U2 are probably the biggest band in the world right now , it was a great privilege to meet such an inspired artist. Beyond Rock Star, he is also “Man of the Year”, His energy was of complete compassion and love , a man of God. More like a priest than a rock star.
I want to say thank you , Bono, for receiving my CD and I hope that your digging it !
2005 was a challenging year for me on a personal level . There was finding love and losing love . However finding ones self and one’s connection to God or Great Spirit is a wonderful process and I spent some joyous time out in the desert just me and my guitar and the inspiration of Great Spirit all around.
I want to thank all of my Goddess girlfriends who pulled me through 2005 . I learnt so much from my Goddess sister’s. You are all powerful . intelligent , brilliant and divine, and I love you all ! So Happy New Year .
Nita who helped me to heal my heart and taught me so much about The Medicine Way . I love you. Victoria, my sister for all her love and creative support . Estela who keeps “The Happy House” together . Lyndsey for having a baby for all of us. Bonnie for her precious advice. Heidi for your intuition and constantly creating a vibe with candles and Indian music.
Deborah for your style , belief and wonderful suppers. Helen for your Earth Motherly support. Elia for your soft touch. Michelle Hurly and Tracy Carter, for some great talks and deep tissue massage . All the ladies at Two Bunch Palms.
And a special thanks to my Mum who always keeps the faith in her rebellious wild child.
You women have shown me the way in 2005 . I have become wiser and stronger from all your love and care and inspiration .
To women everywhere my spirit is with you . May you always know your power and the power of our sisterhood . I hope to see more and more Yin Yang balance on the earth this year. The energy of woman is divine and should always be recognized as such. So love yourselves , love your gifts and keep only those who have the utmost respect for you, around.

Hola, ZS. Nice to know someone out there remembers me! What am I up to? Hmm, OK, eleven years in a nutshell...still a saddo single, had a serious five-year relationship but blew it before it got to the marriage bit...still working freelance, cranked out a few more films, of which 'The Killing Zone', 'Fallen Angels' & 'Neils Party' are allegedly on the video shelves in the USofA...still south London-based but been travelling far & wide with the camera work...driving a Pontiac Firebird (very 'trailer park trash' of me, I've been told)...still slim...own hair & teeth...and, er, that's it. U still acting as well as the singing? Good qi for '06, AD;-)
I've been concentrating on Rock and Roll right now. But who knows the future .....
